Mak Fukumi / Senior Consultant
With over 20 years of experience in the IT and software development industry, he brings specialized expertise in the Japanese market. Prior to founding Tosa Partners, he served as Country Manager for Japan at both Stellar Cyber and OneLogin, where he built their Japan businesses from the ground up by developing strategic local partnerships. He holds an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Southern California. His LinkedIn profile is available here.
Taka Yamagami / Emeritus Advisor
With over 30 years of experience across the IT and venture capital industries, he has built a distinguished career spanning both corporate and investment roles. He served as a U.S. office representative for a major Japanese enterprise and as a Managing Director at a venture capital firm, where he successfully led and invested in numerous startup companies. He holds a Master of Science in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
